Why Core Discipleship?

Jesus did not call us only to believe in Him. He called us to follow Him and make disciples.

Many believers want to help others grow in Christ but don’t know where to start. Core Discipleship equips ordinary people to:

Study Scripture together
Pray for one another
Practice obedience to Jesus
Learn to disciple others

This is not a program—it is a simple, biblical process rooted in the way Jesus trained His disciples.

A Simple Pattern for Making Disciples

When Jesus made disciples, He walked closely with a small group of people. He taught them Scripture, showed them how to live, and sent them to do the same with others.

Core Discipleship follows that same pattern.

Small Groups (Core Groups) of 3–4 people:

Study Scripture together
Pray together
Encourage spiritual growth
Learn to disciple others

Result: Each person becomes ready to help others follow Jesus. This is how disciples multiply.

Why Small Groups of Three or Four?

Jesus invested deeply in a few.

Smaller groups create space for honesty, accountability, prayer, and real spiritual growth. Each person is known, encouraged, and challenged to follow Christ.

In this environment, disciples learn not only to grow, but also to help others grow.

What begins with one group can soon multiply into many.

Paul described this pattern when he wrote: “The things you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2

A Pathway for Growth

Core Discipleship provides simple training to help believers grow and begin discipling others.

Basic Training
Learn the foundations of following Jesus and how to start a Core Group.

Intermediate Training
Grow deeper in Scripture, spiritual formation, and disciple-making.

Advanced Training
Develop the skills to lead, mentor, and multiply new groups.

Master’s Way
Continue growing as a disciple maker who helps others start and lead Core Groups.

Each step is designed to help believers move from learning to practicing to multiplying.

A Growing Global Ministry

By God’s grace, Core Discipleship groups are meeting in many parts of the world. In 2025:

Small groups are forming in homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.

From North America to Africa to Asia, disciples are learning to walk with Jesus and help others follow Him.

The vision is simple: Love God, love others, and make disciples — disciples who make disciples who make disciples who make disciples.

You Can Start Where You Are

Disciple-making does not require a platform or title. It begins with a few people opening the Scriptures together.

A neighbor

Jesus began with twelve. Then three. And through them, the gospel spread to the world.

Many believers ask: Can someone like me really make disciples?

The answer Jesus gives is yes.

He did not choose the most educated or the most influential. He chose ordinary people who were willing to follow Him.

And He told them: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19

The same invitation still stands today.
