Why Core Discipleship?
Jesus did not call people into a program. He called them into a way of life.
He said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
From the beginning, discipleship was never meant to stop with us. It was always meant to multiply through us.
Core Discipleship exists to help everyday believers walk that same path today—clearly, simply, and in a way they can pass on to others.
Not theory. Not complexity. A pathway.
A Simple Pathway for Making Disciples
When Jesus made disciples, He walked closely with a small group of people. He opened the Scriptures to them, prayed with them, showed them how to live, and then sent them to do the same with others.
Disciple making was not a program. It was life shared around the Word of God and obedience to Him.
Core Discipleship follows that same pattern.
The Pathway: Follow → Grow → Lead → Multiply
Discipleship is not a single moment. It is a journey of transformation that leads to reproduction. We walk this journey in four simple movements: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Leaders.
1. Follow Jesus (Basic Training)
Everything begins here.
In this stage, you learn how to walk closely with Jesus in everyday life through Scripture, prayer, obedience, and community. You discover what it means to be a disciple—not just believe in Jesus, but actually follow Him.
This is where formation begins.
2. Grow in Christ (Intermediate Training)
As you continue walking with Jesus, your life begins to deepen.
You learn how to understand Scripture more clearly, apply it consistently, and live with growing maturity.
Faith becomes more than knowledge—it becomes practice.
You also begin to see that discipleship is not only for you, but for others around you.
3. Lead Others (Advanced Training)
At this stage, disciples begin to step into leadership.
You learn how to guide a small group of 3–4 people in Scripture, prayer, and accountability.
You are not building a program—you are walking with people as Jesus walked with His disciples.
This is where reproduction begins to take shape.
You are no longer only being discipled—you are discipling.
4. Multiply Disciple-Makers (Core Leadership)
This is the natural overflow of a life with Jesus.
Disciple-makers now form new groups, train others, and help new believers grow in the same simple pattern.
What began with you now continues through you.
This is how the early church grew. This is how movements grow today.
The Simple Pattern We Follow
We do not complicate what Jesus made clear.
Our model is built on three simple rhythms:
- We gather in small, relational groups (3–4 people)
- We open Scripture and learn to obey it together – the Bible is the curriculum
- We multiply what we are receiving into others
No stage is meant to be the end. Every stage leads to the next person.
A Global Vision with a Simple Beginning
Around the world, God is raising up ordinary believers who are learning to make disciples in simple, reproducible ways.
This is not a classroom model. It is a life-on-life movement.
From homes to villages, cities to nations, disciples are learning to walk with Jesus and help others do the same. The vision is not addition. It is multiplication.
From North America to Africa to Asia, disciples are learning to walk with Jesus and help others follow Him. Since 2025:
People who have heard the Gospel: 258,701
People who accepted Jesus as Lord: 40,651
People baptized: 16,777
Number of Core Groups started: 1,530
Number of trained disciple makers: 1,412
The vision is simple: Love God, love others, and make disciples — disciples who make disciples who make disciples who make disciples.
Who This Is For
This pathway is for you if:
- You want to follow Jesus in a real, practical way
- You are ready to move beyond knowledge into obedience
- You desire to disciple others, even if you feel unqualified
- You want something simple enough to reproduce anywhere
You do not need to be a pastor or a professional minister.
You just need a willing heart and a willingness to follow Jesus step by step.
Start Where You Are
Every disciple begins somewhere.
You do not have to figure out the whole journey at once. You only need to take the next step.
Start with Basic Training. Walk with others. Learn to obey Scripture. Let Jesus form your life.
And as He does, He will use you to help others do the same.
“Come, follow Me.”
Jesus still speaks these words today.
And the invitation has not changed:
Follow Him.
Be formed by Him.
And make disciples who do the same.
